Dear Project partners,

In order to ensure the smooth running of the closure process of the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria – Serbia 2014-2020 the Managing authority developed the following schedule and deadlines in connection with the verification process of the reported expenditures by the beneficiaries after the end of the project implementation:

∙           Final date for submission of requests for first level control (FLC) by beneficiaries – 10.01.2024;

The Indicative Annual Work Program for 2024 of Interreg VI-A Bulgaria-Serbia 2021-2027 Programme can be found below.

8.5 million euros are intended to support projects under the First Call for concept notes of project proposals under the Priority "Integrated development of border region" of (INTERREG VI-A) Bulgaria - Serbia Programme 2021-2027.

Investments in projects to improve regional competitiveness, including in the field of tourism, will contribute to the development of potential and promotion of economic and social cohesion in the cross-border region between Bulgaria and Serbia.

With the Crafts Festival in Pirot on September 20, 2023, we celebrated Interreg Cooperation Day, known until now as European Cooperation Day, and more than 20 years of cooperation between Bulgaria and Serbia for the development of the cross-border region.

The Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Angelina Boneva launched the strategic project implementation under the cross-border cooperation program (INTERREG VI-A) Bulgaria - Serbia 2021-2027 at the official handing over of the subsidy contract.

The Guidelines for Pre-defined Applicants under the 1st Restricted Call for Strategic Proposal of the (INTERREG VI-A) IPA Bulgaria Serbia Programme were amended by a decision of the Monitoring Committee from 16 March 2023.
