A successful Info Day was held in Niš on 2 February 2026 within the framework of the open call for project proposals under Priority 1 – Support to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, as part of the Interreg IPA Bulgaria–Serbia Programme.

The Joint Secretariat of the Bulgaria–Serbia Programme will conduct an information campaign targeting small and medium-sized enterprises from both sides of the border – Bulgaria and Serbia seeking opportunities to invest in cross-border joint projects.

The events are intended for companies from the programme area that are looking for additional information on the open Call for Proposals under Priority 1 “Competitive Cross-Border Region”. The call aims to promote sustainable growth of SMEs and job creation, including through productive investments.

The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works launches a series of regional meetings with stakeholders in connection with the preparation of the new territorial cooperation programmes for the 2028–2034 period. The meetings are aimed at representatives of local authorities, cultural institutions, non-governmental, research and business organisations, who will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the first ideas and guidelines for the new programming period and to share their proposals.
