The Joint Secretariat of the Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria–Serbia Programme 2021–2027 will organize information days for applicants under the call for project proposals for the development and provision of services of general interest within the framework of the Programme’s Territorial Strategy.
The call aims to address territorial and socio-economic disparities regarding the scope, accessibility, and quality of services of general interest.
It also responds to the need for modernization, adaptation, and synchronization of service delivery in the cross-border area in line with recent technological advancements and innovative solutions. Applicants are encouraged to choose areas of intervention that meet identified regional needs and demonstrate a clear contribution to the public interest and cross-border cohesion.
During the information events, experts from the Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat of the Programme will present the following topics:
- General overview of the call for project proposals under the Territorial Strategy;
- Eligibility of applicants, activities, and expenditures;
- Required documents for application;
- Methodology for evaluating project proposals;
- Practical guidelines for applying and electronic submission of documents.
The information campaign programme includes the following events:
Information Day – 25 June (Wednesday) 2025, 10:30 AM – Conference Hall at Sofia Summit Center, Sofia, Bulgaria (8-th December Street);
Information Day – 27 June (Friday) 2025, National Library of Pirot, Pirot, Serbia (Dobrice Milutinovića Street 2).
Pre-registration is mandatory (no participation fee). There is no limitation on the number of participants per organization. Events held in each country will be conducted in the respective national languages – Bulgarian and Serbian.
