Over 90 companies from Bulgaria and Serbia took part in a Partnersearch Forum held at Sofia Tech Park on 20 February 2026. The event brought together entrepreneurs from both sides of the border with the common goal of finding partners and developing joint project ideas with the support of the INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria–Serbia Programme 2021–2027.
The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works is launching a series of regional meetings with stakeholders in connection with the preparation of the new territorial cooperation programmes for the 2028–2034 programming period. The regional consultations aim to engage local communities already at the programming stage and to collect proposals on the priorities and orientations of the future programmes.
On 20 February 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m., a Partner Search Forum under the Call for Direct Support to Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises will be held at The Venue Hall, Incubator Building, Sofia Tech Park (111 Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd., Sofia).
The Guidelines for Applicants under the Second Call for Project Proposals for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises under Priority 1 “Competitive Border Region” of the (INTERREG VI-A) IPA Bulgaria Serbia Programme were amended by a decision of the Monitoring Committee from 11 February 2026.

A successful Info Day was held in Niš on 2 February 2026 within the framework of the open call for project proposals under Priority 1 – Support to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, as part of the Interreg IPA Bulgaria–Serbia Programme.
