Small and medium-sized enterprises can now apply to join the RESCALE Project

Following the official launch of the strategic RESCALE (Scaling Regions) project in March this year, the first phase of support for businesses is now underway. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the Bulgaria–Serbia cross-border region can now express their interest in joining the project and benefit from a comprehensive development programme offering free access to expert support, training, international business networking and innovation opportunities.

Successful disaster response depends on more than firefighters, rescue teams and specialised equipment. It also relies on volunteers – people who choose to dedicate their time to learning how to help when every additional pair of hands can make a difference.

From 29 June to 3 July 2026, the sixth and final group of volunteers under the RESPONSE project completed its training at the Training Centre of the General Directorate Fire Safety and Civil Protection in Montana, Bulgaria.

Obuka podržava početak realizacije projekata u oblasti usluga od opšteg interesa

Kako bi se podržao uspešan početak realizacije novih projekata, u okviru Programa Interreg VI-A IPA Bugarska - Srbija 2021–2027 organizovane su paralelne obuke za korisnike bespovratnih sredstava iz Bugarske i Srbije, namenjene projektima odobrenim u okviru Poziva za projekte u oblasti usluga od opšteg interesa. Obuke su bile posvećene ključnim pravilima upravljanja projektima, njihovoj realizaciji i izveštavanju.

Potpisivanjem ugovora o dodeli bespovratnih sredstava zvanično je započela realizacija 13 projekata odobrenih u okviru Poziva za projekte u oblasti usluga od opšteg interesa, koji se sprovodi u okviru Teritorijalne strategije Programa Interreg VI-A IPA Bugarska–Srbija 2021–2027. Ukupna vrednost odobrenih sredstava premašuje 8,1 milion evra.

Projekti imaju za cilj unapređenje dostupnosti i kvaliteta usluga od opšteg interesa u prekograničnom regionu kroz zajednička rešenja koja razvijaju i sprovode partneri iz Bugarske i Srbije.

With the launch of the Timok–Danube Cycling platform, cycling enthusiasts can now do more than simply plan their routes – they can experience them in advance through a video series available in Bulgarian, Serbian and English.

The video series is part of project BGRS0200069 “Timok–Danube Cycling”, funded with nearly €927,000 under the Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria–Serbia 2021–2027 Programme.
