In 2023, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works awarded a service contract for external performance of the impact evaluation of the Interreg IPA Cross-border Programmes 2014-2020, managed by the Republic of Bulgaria.
The evaluation was performed in the period March – November 2023 by Afrit Ltd. providing an analysis of the level of achievement of programmes output and result indicators and their compliance with the set programmes’ targets and implementing their long-term impacts of Programmes’ interventions on the cross-border area, project partners and target groups. The recommendations for the implementation of the Programmes for the 2021-2027 period through summarizing lessons learned from Programmes/projects implementation 2014-2020 were also presented in the Impact Evaluation Report.
