Project summary: | The project will help cultural sites and manifestations to become a significant part of the tourist offer in the municipalities of Chelopech and Blace. This will be achieved through the investment in locations and objects of importance for local culture and art, through the modernization and digitization of content in a way that is close to modern tourists, through the exchange of ideas and experiences of employees in culture and tourism and through the mutual promotion of manifestations. We have a combination of culture, tourism, mining and good food The project will bring a synergistic effect to both communities. The project will help to see two new destinations on the tourist map of the border regions. It will allow the exchange of culture, food and perceptions, which will collectively raise the standard of living in both municipalities. Through the experience of the project, it will be possible to present the possibilities for tourism on the European map. Both regions are bordered by places with mineral water, old wines and lots of history dating back to pre-Roman times Municipality of Blace and Chelopech with Drainac Cultural Center will create New Tourist Locations. This is also the acronym of the project From A Culture to Tourism. This is also the connection of the joint project. On the one hand, the mining of gold from the Neolithic, on the other, the great spontaneous love between the poets Rade Drainac and Elisaveta Bagryana. The grandfather of Elisaveta Bagryana worked in the mine in Chelopech. This creates a strong bond between the two municipalities. Past, culture and future intertwine in this project. |
