The Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria–Serbia Programme has officially launched Call for Proposals No. 2021TC16IPCB007–2025–5 aimed at providing indirect support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the cross-border region.
About the Call
Under Priority 2 – Specific Objective 2, this targeted initiative focuses on enhancing the regional competitiveness of local SMEs, particularly in tourism, innovation, digitalization, and sustainable growth sectors. The goal is to help enterprises grow and integrate into regional and international value chains through non-financial support measures like consultancy, training, experience exchange, and mentoring.

Territorial Scope: Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Sofia District, Pernik, Kyustendil (Bulgaria); Bor, Zaječar, Toplica, Nišava, Pirot, Jablanica, Pčinja (Serbia)
Total Budget: €6,023,530
Target Beneficiaries: 200 SMEs (100 per country)
Main Actions: Development of a joint business services programme, four pilot projects, and the creation of a cross-border SME support ecosystem
Pre-defined Applicants: Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) & Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (Niš, Zaječar, Leskovac)
