The Managing Authority of the Interreg VI-A Bulgaria–Serbia Programme 2021-2027 is launching public consultations on the upcoming Call for Project Proposals under Priority 1 “Competitive Border Region.”
The Call aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the cross-border region in enhancing their productivity, sustainable growth, and access to new markets.
The financial support is expected to contribute to the modernisation of businesses through investments in technology, digitalisation, and the development of tourism, cultural, sports, construction, and transport-related activities, as well as by encouraging joint initiatives between enterprises from both sides of the border.
The total budget for the upcoming Call amounts to EUR 2.53 million, providing grants between EUR 100,000 and EUR 400,000 per project.
The revised Guidelines for Applicants introduce an expanded scope of eligible applicants and simplified application requirements, aiming to encourage wider participation of enterprises from the programme area.
