Interested in gaining hands-on experience in EU project communication and cross-border cooperation?

The Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria–Serbia Programme 2021–2027 offers an opportunity for a young volunteer to join the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) initiative.

The initiative is addressed to young people aged 18 to 30 and aims to engage volunteers in promoting the results of territorial cooperation programmes, as well as in telling the stories behind the implemented projects.

As part of the initiative, the volunteer will join the team responsible for the communication activities of the Interreg Bulgaria–Serbia Programme and will support efforts to present the achieved results and the impact of funded projects.

Main tasks:
  • preparing content for the Programme website and social media channels;
  • creating communication materials such as news articles, interviews, posts, and visual content;
  • participating in events, information days, and communication campaigns;
  • collecting and presenting good practices and success stories;
  • supporting the promotion of Programme results among different target audiences.
What the initiative offers:

Participation in IVY provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in communication of EU-funded programmes, work in an international environment, and get direct exposure to projects that contribute to the development of the cross-border region.

Duration and location:
  • 📍 Sofia, Bulgaria
  • ⏳ Duration: approximately 6 months
  • 📅 Starting date: May/June 2026

By joining the initiative, the volunteer will have the opportunity to develop skills in content creation, communication with diverse audiences, and presenting project results in a clear and accessible way.
